World Without Walls is dedicated to building bridges of communication and cooperation across borders that divide human beings.

World Without Walls will promote three principles of action:

Caring — To link those who care

Communication — To develop modes of communication and understanding

Co-operation — To create structures of cooperation and tolerance

In the age of terrorism and weapons of mass destruction, neither walls nor nuclear arsenals can keep our world safe. New structures for protection must be built, based on understanding, connection, and humanitarian goals, because safety is a prerequisite for healthy human society. The decades since the Second World War have seen an explosion of humanitarian assistance that has never been seen before given by people who are not family to people of different races and cultures. This is a quiet, largely unnoticed revolution of global social interaction. Individuals have carried the human drive to care for and protect each other to every corner of the earth—creating an extraordinary modern army. People from every walk of life, either alone or under the auspices of NGOs, have gone out to work for social justice, to care for the ill and unfortunate, or simply to share their skills. These are the peace makers—on the ground, in action.

They form a group whose numbers, joined together by the thread of communication can vastly increase their recognition, power and influence.
